News from Manitoba

Manitoba ran six Senior and four Intermediate leagues. St. John’s High School was welcomed into the league for the first time, and University of Winnipeg Collegiate made a return. Both Senior and Intermediate divisions saw a repeat of last year, with St. Paul’s High and St. John’s-Ravenscourt defending their respective titles.

This year’s Senior provincials were hosted by Portage Collegiate and Peter Saunders. The teams were very competitive and made for some exciting matches. The results were as follows:



Congratulations to Champion, St. Paul’s High; team members: Ethan Chess, Douglas Feltham, Alex Megyeri, Alex Pawlowsky, Peyton Veitch and their coach John Pundyk for winning the Senior division.



The Intermediate playoffs were hosted by Vincent Massey High School and their coach Dave Bebbington :

Congratulations to Intermediate Champion, St. John’s- Ravenscourt team members Kenji Pliszka, Daman S. Ahluwalia, Eric MacLise, Charlie Killeen, Rami Elzagat, Jean-Marc Haché and their coach Neil Martin.
