The joy of playing the game
To all students, coaches, alumni and friends of Reach For The Top/Schoolreach:
These past few weeks have been difficult and confusing for all Canadians.
The closure of all schools, international border restrictions & closures, travel limitations and ever more stringent social distancing measures have understandably created challenges and uncertainty. But these are necessary and ongoing steps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
In cooperation with these measures, it is evident to us that the Reach Ontario Provincial Finals and National Finals for the 2019/20 season cannot take place in May as scheduled and are therefore cancelled.
By continuing necessary social distancing together, we all have a role to play in confronting this global pandemic. Check our Facebook page for updates and Trivia challenges to play at home. We hope for a brighter and pandemic-free 2020-21 season of Schoolreach/Reach For The Top.

Schoolreach is a co-curricular subscription program for high school students. Reach teams represent their schools in a fast-paced trivia challenge testing both their knowledge and speed of recall.
“Reach for the Top” began life as a television quiz game for high school students, modeled on the British television series “Top of the Form“, and was first played on the local CBC outlet in Vancouver in 1961.
A charitable foundation created in 2014 to recognize and assist outstanding Reach students and alumni, including scholarship awards that are presented during the National Finals of Reach For The Top.
